The ſtatement of the value of grcen crops, will, I doubt not, appear ſur» priſing to many, which indeed I witneſſed from the obſervations of the per- fons preſent, whilft the experiments were making. All I have to intreat» is, that thole who may be leaſt diſpoſed to agree with me, will only take the trouble, before they rejeet it, of making their own calculations.--The expenſe of this ſyſtem is, undoubtedly, great; ſ0 is the produces The error, moſt farmers fall into, is by endeavouring to do too much; I will venture to aſſert=-a little, wel] done, will make the moſt ample returns.
