The premium, No. 16, tor 1805, ot a ſilver cup, or five guineas, for the greatelt improvement in marling on the tallow, to Mr. Robert Fimmis, of Weſton-hall.
The premium, No. 17, for 4305, of a filver cup, or five guineas, for the beit crop ot red clover, on Jands having borne a green crop in 1803, to George Follet, elq. ot Swinnerton-hall.
The premium, No. 22, for 1305, of two guineas for women ſervants in farming buſineis, to Sarah Viggors, tor thirty-two years raichtul ſervice in the pariſh of Audley.
The ſociety alſo directed the ſum of five guineas to he diſtrihuted amongſt ſeveral tarming ſervants and labourers who exbibited clauns ot mcrit.
Mr. ITiaac Aſhton, Mr. Thomas Dent, Mr. Thomas Marſh, and Mr. Robert Fimmis, wcre appointed viewers of the ſeveral cialmus tor the year eniuing.

At Leiceſter fair, on Ofober 10, there was aſvery large ſhew of“ſheep, and many vuyers attended; uſeful[tock of all deſcriptions were ready ſale, at their tull value.;
At Nottingham fair, on the ſcond and third O&ober plain cheeſe ſold from 525. to 578. Coloured 568. to 628. per cwt, according to ſize and qua= Jity.
Penrice's Sale of Breeding Fwes.
The ſale of breeding cwes of the Nw Leicelter kind, belonging to George Penrice, E|q. was attended by many reſpettable breeders, from different parts of the kingdom:--It was univerſally allowed by competent judges, there never was an hundred iheep ſv generally good, brovght nader th& hammer; and that no inſtance can be produced in the annals of breeding, when the ever prevailing opinion of the firſt breeder this kidgdom once had to boaſt ot(the late Mr. Bakewel]) was ſo clearly corroborated; for it was the re= gular prattice of Mr. P. to hire his rams of Meſſrs. Stones, without obje&- ing to conſanguinity, which was Mr. Bakewell"s firſt Principle, and there is no doubt it tbis Iyltem were more generally attended to, the breed of iheep would be brought to greater pertedtion.
Keyworth Market and Fairs.
Weekly markets, are held at Keyworth, in the county of Leiceſter, on every Wedneſday, puriuant to the charter, for the purpoſe of buying and ſelling all kinds oi grain and other commodities: there are allo TWO FAIRS held at Keyworth, aforeſaid, for the buying and ſelling all kinds of cattle and other merchandize; the one on Monday and Tueſday in Eaſter week, the other on the zgth and 3oth of September, unleſs one of thoſe days hap- „pens to be a Sunday, then on the Monday to) Jowing. f
