To John Birbeck, for the ſecond beſt ditto- 7 ie" The premium of ten guineas was voted to Mr. George Addinell, of Tad- Caſter, for his Moor Farm,(which he holds oſthe Earl vi Egremont) being in the beit(tate of cultivation, and on which the beft courſe of Eropping, together with the beſt manner of converting the ſtraw into manure is pradtiſed, LÜkewil2 neatnels of fences, ditches,&c. Two guineas were allo voted to Mr. William Tadſon, for a quicking rake,

At a genera] meeting of the Society, to award their ſeveral prizes, agree= ably to their reſolutions, held at the White Hart Inn, in Lewes, on Wednelday, Aug. 1, 1804.
The Right Hon. Lord Pelham, in the Chair. - The judges appointed to determine the merits of the catrle, ſheep, and oxen, ſhewn for the prizes, reported the following to be the ſucceſsful candi- dates, VIZ»
Mr. Alfrey, of Friſton, a piece of plate, for the beſt bull, two years old.
Mr. Purſeglove, of Herſtmonceaux, a piece of plate, for the beſt bull, two. Fears old.
Mr. Rogers, of Kingſton, a piece of plate, for the beſt bull, ſour years
old.
Mr. Alfrey, of Frifton, the piece of plate, value ten pounds, adjudged at the ſhew of cattle in 1893, to his late brother, for the beit ball produced in the field This piece of plate was challenged in 1803, by Mr. Purſglove.
Mr. Scraie, of Pnoyle Place, a piece of plate, for the beit heifer, two years old.:
Mr. Elphick, of Framfield, a piece of plate, for the beſt cow, four years old, which had produced a living calft, between the firſt of January and the firſt of April laſt, and was in milk on the day of hew.
