Our crops here are very abundant, and well got up, except in the Northern part of th& county, towards ihe coast which are always later by a week or two than the more inland part; but there the crops are generally: go00d, and the last very fine week, must have brought the harvest nearly to a conclusion. The new wheat is of good quality and quantity ona all our varieties of Soil, but the bar- leys on the heavy lands are very inferior to those on lands of a higher quality. Tue turnips every where have looked. well, but the late very dry weather has caused the appearance of mildew, especially in the first S0own erops, which 1 am in-
