LONDON PRICES OF GRAIN for ÄAugust, 1804.

MARK-LANE, Monday, Auguſt 6.

FROM a ſhort ſupply of Wheat, and plenty of buyers, that article has advanced ?his motning full 25. per. quarter. Barley remains nominally at laſt Mondays prices, there being very little at Market, and but few ſales effeted, Malt is rather cheaper. White and Grey Peaſe went off nearly at laft currency 3; but Horſe and Tick Beans, from an abundant ſupply, are cheaper by' 23. per quarter. Oats, of which we have further great arrivals(both foreign and Coaſtways), are cheaper 5 many of the firit mentioned out of condition. Flour is dearer,

Wet weather in harveit time, occurring on a Market-day, has generally pro- duced a riſe in the price of corn, and that being the caſe this morning, with the attendance of many M ves. Wheat advanced full 35. per quarter. Rye Barley, and Malt, were likewiſe dearcr. Peaſe of the different ſorts did not moye quite ſo briſkly as other articles 3 but Beans ſold at better prices than laft week. A ſcarcity of freſh Oats, with a pretty good demand, occaſioned the ſales to be effected at about 15. per quarter advance ſince laſt Monday.

At the cloſe of Jaſt Monday's Market, an extraordinary ſtart toox place in Wheat and Flour, and higher prices were demanded than con:ained in our report of that day. The ſales were briſk at the early part of this morning, but Jef: off ra:her heavily at noon, at the advanced prices below. Fine Dantzic ſamples bear the higheſt prices, and exceed our currency. Barley is Kill ſcarce, and dearer; Malt, of courſe, h'gher. Other articles, vz. Peaſe and Beans of the different kinds, and Oats(for which latter there is a briſk demand) are all dearer.

The late and prefent fine weather, with a better aſcertained ſtate of the Wheat crops, and large importations, having diſpelled all apprehenfons of ſcarcity, theſe nfiderations, with a moſt uncommon ſupply up for this day*s Market, have Jowered the price 68. and 75. pr quarier on the fine, and rather more on the inferior ſorts. Barley, Malt, and other articles, partaking of the fall in Wheat, are likewiſe cheaper,

eixcepting Oa!s(a ſhort ſupply), which maintain laſt week's prices. Flour is fall 53. pcr lack lower.
