Extract of a Letter from Hythe, dated Aus. 26.

« The dry weather laſt week has proved very beaeficial to the corn har- velt, a great deal of wheat was houſed on Thurſday and Friday in very good condition all along the coaſt here. The rain yeſterday was rather againſt it, bet.the wind and fübſegquent ſan[von dried it up. We have no reaſon to complain on this part oi the coaſt, for taking the whole crops on an average, they are likely to be produttive. There is ſome ſmall deficiency in the wheat ear, but not to ſuch an alarmiag vextent as has been imßnuated. A longer gontinuance of dry weather is the only thing that is wanted."
