Nachdem H. Coll. von Klipstein die Güte gehabt, hierauf seinem H. Vetter in Südcarolina zu antworten, ist von letzterem unter heutigem Antwort d. d. 20. Mai eingelaufen, enthaltend einen Brief des Bittstellers nebst einem Blatt mit zwei Zeugnissen.
Der in dem Briefe mitgetheilte Abriß seines Lebens bestätigt nur von Neuem das schon früher aus dem an H. Coll. von Klipstein gerichteten Brief Bekanntgewordene. Seiner Versicherung nach habe er im J. 1832
den Grad eines artium baccalaureus in dem Hampden Sidney College erhalten.
