EVENING.

FATHER, mould us to Thy will,

Make each heart Thy hallowed shrine, All Thy mind in us fufil,

And be ours as we are Thine.

SON, Who cam'st on earth to save, Pity on us deign to take; And from death's eternal grave Save us, for Thy mercy's sake.

HOLY GHOST, aid us to run

In Thy seven- fold strength complete; One in soul, in spirit one,

For Thy habitation meet.

O be with us as we sleep, Ever- blessed TRINITY; And through hours of darkness keep Us, who put our trust in Thee! Amen.

" He shall give His angels charge over thee."

GOD, Who madest earth and heaven, Darkness and light;

Who the day for toil hast given, For rest the night;

May Thine angel- guards defend us, Slumber sweet Thy mercy send us, Holy dreams and hopes attend us, This livelong night.

Guard us waking, guard us sleeping, And, when we die,

May we in Thy mighty keeping

All peaceful lie:

When the last dread call shall wake us, Do not Thou our GoD forsake us, But to reign in glory take us

With Thee on high. Amen.
