And he brought him to Jesus.- John 1. 42. 1 LEAD me to Jesus, lead me to Jesus,
Teach me to love Him, teach me to pray; He is my Saviour, I would believe Him, I would be like Him, show me the way.
2 Lead me to Jesus, He will protect me, He is so loving, gentle, and mild; Calling the children, bidding them wel
com'e;
Surely He calls me- I am a child.
3 Lord, I am coming! Jesus, my Saviour, Pity my weakness, make me Thy child; I would receive Thee, trust, and believe Thee,
I would be like Thee, gentle and mild. FANNY J. CROSBY.

His ears are open unto their ry.- Psa. 34. 15.
1 THE Lord attends when cl ildren pray, A whisper He can hear
He knows not only what we say, But what we wish or fear.
2 He sees us when we are alone,
Though no one else can see;
And all our thoughts to Him are known, Wherever we may be.
3' Tis not enough to bend the knee,
And words of prayer to say;
The heart must with the lips agree, Or else we do not pray.
4 Teach us, O Lord, to pray aright, Thy grace to us impart;
That we in prayer may take delight, And serve Thee with the heart.
& Then, heavenly Father, at Thy throne Thy praise we will proclaim, And daily our request make known In our Redeemer's name.

They are equal unto the angels.- Luke 20. 36. 1 I WOULD be like an angel,
And with the angels stand, A crown upon my forehead, A harp within my hand;
There right before y saviour, So glorious and so bright, I'd wake the sweetest music, And praise Him day and night.
2 I never could be weary,
Nor ever shed a tear, Nor ever know a sorrow, Nor ever feel a fear; But blessèd, pure, and holy, I'd dwell in Jesus' sight, And with ten thousand angels, Praise Him both day and night.
3 I know I'm weak and sinful, But Jesus will forgive, For many little children
Have gone to heaven to live. Dear Saviour, when I languish And lay me down to die, Oh, send a shining angel To bear me to the sky.
4 I would be like an angel, And with the angels stand, A crown upon my forehead, A harp within my hand; And there before my Saviour, So glorious and so bright, I'll wake the heavenly music, And praise Him day and night. MISS S. P. GILL.

We come unto Thee.- Jer. 3. 22.
1 SHALL Jesus bid the children come, And I refuse His grace? No; though I am a little one, I'll seek His smiling face.
3 I know that in the days gone by He placed them on His knee, And think if I to Him draw nigh His arms will welcome me.
3 For surely He is still the same As when so meek and mild,
He called them sweetly name by name,
And blest each little child.
4 Within me gentle voices call,
They must His accents be,
Because with power, though still and small,
They speak His love to me.
