AST winter I informed you of an experiment[I was mak- ing to ascertain whether any, or Ww hat mode, of pickling Secd Wheat would best prevent the production of Bran; and at the Same time promised to give you the result.=-Now as on this, as well as on every occasion,[ Should wish to perform my promise, I will doso as far as I am able, but am Sorry to Say, I have very little to communicate on the Subject, asthe Spar- rows attacked and devoured my wheat, both good and bad, (which occupied a Small Square in the garden) before it was ripe.
