Hounslow Wool Fair.

Hounſlow Wool Fair, commenced on Augult 15, when moſt of the prin- eipal farmers in the county artended. Several bargains were made for the South Down fleeces, at 685- and Mr. Butler of Helton, got as high as 705» per tod 3 Cnall heath wool, at 695- 5 ſome inferior ſortss at 555- 3 Wilt- Hire, at 4658. to 595. Per tod; there were many choice fleeces Shewn, very Ketle interior to the wool from Spain. About 359 packs were brought to rhe fair, the greateit part of which was ſold; and the Dujers and tellers equally pleaſcd with tneir bargains, promiſed to meet at the fair the next feilt day of. There was 4a very conſiderable hew of horſes 3; the prices of which varicd agrecably to their qualities; tholfe that were really good or uſeful for the ſaddle or draught, obtained prodigiouſly high prices. There was alfo a great zumber. of cattle; lean vealts brought high(ums, as they were much in reguest on account of the abundance ot latter-m ith--many droves went from the Down unſold.
