ANOTHER Volume is formed of a Miscellany, on the uhility of which nothing new is required to be advanced, Since Zhe unwersality of Agrieälturat Science wall warrant every ezertion in its behalf, and the work to which we are about to add our periodical address has both age and variety to.offer ün its recommendation.. Notwithstanding a wariety of difficulties, understood ouly by those who have experienced the constant ordeal of publica- tion, the Editor is happy üt perceiving, on revisal of the pre- Sent volume, an accesston of information, particalarly: of a practical kind, to which he confesses Jus decided preference. Theoretical books or es8ays, on any Subject, may be multiplied to infinity, but the pure, though rough, Spirit of agricultural employment, can only be obtained from real practice; the more intelligent, undoubtedl!y, the more valuable; but valu- able c/wefly as practical.
