A buſt ol the late Duke of Bedford was placed in the room where the members dined, it was given by Mr. Weltcar to the Gocietys and welcomed by an vnaniumous vote of thanks.

'On Thurſday, May 30, a lele& party ot diſtinguiſhed Agriculturiſts, vf various diſtri&s, allemoled at Felix Hall in this county; to view the farming improvements of C- C- Welten, Bly. Aiter inſpe&mg his capital ſtock ot Pevonſhire cows, South Down thcep, and celebrated pigs, 416 rode over his corn lands, and viewed the improvements on his new farms, which were de ſervedly admired; they aw a thyee-horſe convex-breaſted whedl-plough at work, called the old Biflex plough, with which the ploughman croffed a ſtiff piece of land lo ſkilfall;, tnat the gentlemen made a ſublcriptio; tor him on the ficld, as a ceward for hie merit.
