OUR fupplies being fhort, an inconfiderable advance has again taken place in meft Grain to day. Wheat may be confidered from Is. to 2s. per quarter dearer. Barley and Malt are likewife on the rife. Oats have a brifk fale, and are fomething dearer 3 and Peas and Beans fetch better prices than laft week.

The fupply of Wheat at our Market this day, was not very great; beft famples maintained lat week’s prices, but the inferior forts were rather dull and 1s. cheaper. Barley is rather dearer; we have plenty of buyers, and not a very great fupply.— Oats are likewife brifk, the fupply of that article being rather fhort. In other arti- cles we have no material variation.

In confequence of the imprefs, and the profpeé of an immediate war, we hada number of buyers to-day. At firft of the market, high prices were afked for Wheat, but few, even of the beft fam»les, were taken off at more than an advance of 2s. and 3s. per quarter, every other article of Grain partaking of the rife.—Barley fetched 1s. 6d. per quarter more than laft Monday; and Malt in proportion. Good Oats experienced an ajvance of half-a-crowna quarter.——Other articles, as well as Blour, are looking upwards.

Though we had no great demand for Barley and Malt, yet both were from Is. to 2s. per quarter dearer. Peas and Beaas are likewife on therife. Oats, and particularly the better forts, are alfo dearer.

Our fupply of Grain to-day are but moderate, yet Wheat(except for fome few very prime famples which obtain top prices} have feltadepreffion of full two fhillings par quarter. Borley and Malt go off readily, there being but a fhort fupply of the tormer, Oats of the beft fort are rather dearer, and thofe of middling quality fell frcely at laft quoted prices. Peas and Beans are fomething higher, Flour rather inclines downward, havi g a better fupply than of late.
