In regard to the bool-trade, it is alſo next to Leipzic, its moſt important d:- þts but was formerly of greater moment 1n this reſpe&, than'it 1s at preſent. Its chief exports confit in wine, t-bacco, hemp, cre m of tartar, plumbs,&c. Among the ma- nufa@ories of this city, thoſe of ſilk and velvet ribbons, plate, glaſs, tobacco, porc?- lain, types, and wax- ching, are the muſt important.
