viduals, in the different departments, the

community at large will be still more generally benefited.

By drawing together the most valu- able breeds of the different species of live stock, or domestic animals, by improving these breeds, and by opening registers for the valuable breeds of individuals in every part of the island, the general im- provement of the various species will, with moral certainty, be promoted.

Thus, even as a PLACE OF INTELLI- GENCE, an institution of the nature of that which is here proposed, will be found highly useful.
