tions of vegetable food as the common people do in Scotland.

* This is the quality of the flour, of which the bread prefently ufed in my own family is made. Upon comparing it with Sir George Young’s experiments, wide page 259, I find itto correfpond pretty accurately, only coarfer, principally from being made of wheat of an inferior quality.
