16 MORNING. Parr III. eae to Thee Who safe hast kept

And hast refreshed me while I slep Grant, Lorn, when I from death shall wak I may of endless light partake

I would not wake, nor rise-again,

Fen heaven itself I would disdain,

Wert Thou not there to be enjoyed,

And I in hymns to be employed.

Heaven is, dear Lorn, whereer Thou art, O never, then, from me depart;

For to my soultis hell to be

But for one moment without Thee.

to Thee renew,

Lorp, I my vow Scatter my sins as morning dew; Guard my first springs of thought and will, And with Thysélf my spirit fill.

Direct, control, suggest this day

All I design, or do, or say:

That all my powers with all their might

In Thy sole glory may unite.

Doxology to be sung at the end of each Part, Praise Gop, from Whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, angelic host;

Praise FATHER, SON, and Hoty Guosrt. Amen.

2 N EW every Our wakening and uprising prove; Through sleep and darkness safely braught,

Restored to life, and power, and thought.

New mercies, each returning day,

Hover around us while we pray;

New perils past, new sins forgiven,

New thoughts of Gop, new hopes of heaven. Xf on our daily course our mind

Be set to hallow all we find,

New treasures still, of countless price,

Gop will provide for sacrifice.
