Tmhat in Thy pure innocence We may wash our souls' offencée, And find truest penitence,

That we give to sin no place, That we never quench Thy grace, That we ever seek Thy Face,

That denying evil Iust,

We may live to Thee instead,

When shall end the battle sore,

Grant Thy peace for evermore,
