THE HE fpacious firmament on high,
With all the blue etherial fky, And fpangled heav'ns, a fhining frame, Their great Original proclaim.
2 Th' unwearied fun, from day to day, Does his Creator's pow'r difplay; And publiſhes to ev'ry land
The work of an Almighty hand.

Soon as the ev'ning fhades prevail, The moon takes up the wondrous tale, And nightly to the lift'ning earth Repeats the ſtory of her birth.
