his mercies ne'er decay: let thankful Israel say. let Aaron's house express; that fear the Lord confess. with troubles quite opprest; and granted my request. so graciously appear, possess my soul with fear? vouchsafes my part to take, a just return to make. and have the Lord our friend, for safety to depend.

he only claims my songs. whom God has sav'd from harm; by his Almighty arm.
