All our days direct us In the way we go, Lead us on victorious Over every foe: Bid Thine angels shield us When the storm- clouds lour, Pardon Thou and save us In the last dread hour.

Brightly gleams,& c.

Then with Saints and Angels May we join above, Offering prayers and praises At Thy Throne of love; When the toil is over,

Then comes rest and peace, JESUS, in His Beauty, Songs that never cease. Brightly gleams our banner Pointing to the sky, Waving wanderers onward To their home on high..

***

" Be strong and of a good courage. And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee."

ONWARD, Christian soldiers,

Marching as to war,

With the Cross of JESUS Going on before.

CHRIST the Royal Master Leads against the foe, Forward into battle,

See, His banners go. Onward, Christian soldiers, Marching as to war, With the Cross of JESUS Going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee; On, then, Christian soldiers, On to victory. Hell's foundations quiver At the shout of praise; Brothers, lift your voices, Loud your anthems raise. Onward,& c.

PROCESSIONAL.

Like a mighty army Moves the Church of GOD; Brothers, we are treading Where the saints have trod; We are not divided,

All one body we, One in hope, and doctrine, One in charity.

Onward,& c.

Crowns and thrones may perish, Kingdoms rise and wane, But the Church of JESUS Constant will remain; Gates of hell can never ' Gainst that Church prevail; We have CHRIST'S own promise, And that cannot fall.

Onward,& c.

Onward, then, ye people, Join our happy throng, Blend with ours your voices, In the triumph song; Glory, laud, and honour, Unto CHRIST the King, This through countless ages Men and Angels sing. Onward, Christian soldiers, Marching as to war, With the Cross of JESUS Going on before.

" Young men and maidens, old men and children, praise the Name of the LORD."

REJOICE ye pure in heart, Rejoice, give thanks and sing; Your festal banner wave on high, The Cross of CHRIST your King.

Bright youth and snow- crowned age, Strong men and maidens meek, Raise high your free exulting song, GOD'S wondrous praises speak.

Yes onward, onward still, With hymn, and chant, and song, Thro' gate, and porch, and columned

aisle,

The hallowed pathways throng.

With all the angel choirs,

With all the saints on earth,

Pour out the strains of joy and bliss,

True rapture, noblest mirth.

Your clear Hosannas raise,

And Alleluias loud;

Whilst answering echoes upward float,

Like wreaths of incense cloud.

With voice as full and strong

As ocean's surging praise,

Send forth the hymns our fathers loved,

The psalms of ancient days.

Yes on, through life's long path, Still chanting as ye go,

From youth to age, by night and day,

In gladness and in woe.

Still lift your standard high,

Still march in firm array,

As warriors through the darkness toll

Till dawns the golden day.

At last the march shall end,

The wearied ones shall rest, The pilgrims find their Father's House, Jerusalem the blest.

Then on, ye pure in heart, Rejoice, give thanks, and sing; Your festal banner wave on high, The Cross of CHRIST your King.

Praise Him Who reigns on high, The LORD Whom we adore,

The FATHER, SON, and HOLY GHOST, One GOD for avermore. Amen.
