GENERAL HYMNS.
quickly come, great King of all; Reign all around us, and within; Let sin no more our souls enthrall, Let pain and sorrow die with st: O quickly come: for Thou alone Canst make Thy scattered people one.
O quickly come, true Life of all; For death is mighty all around; On every home his shadows fall, On every heart his mark is found: O quickly come: for grief and pain, Can never cloud Thy glorious reign.
O quickly come, sure Light of all, For gloomy night broods o'er our way; And weakly souls begin to fall With weary watching for the day: O quickly come: for round Thy throne No eye is blind, no night is known.
Amen.
332" The time is short."
A FEW more years shall roll, A few more seasons come, And we shall be with those that rest Asleep within the tomb: Then, O my LORD, prepare My soul for that great day; O wash me in Thy precious Blood, And take my sins away.
A few more suns shall set O'er these dark hills of time, And we shall be where suns are not, A far serener clime:
Then, O my LORD, prepare My soul for that blest day; O wash me in Thy precious Blood, And take my sins away.
A few more storms shall beat On this wild rocky shore,
And we shall be where tempests cease, And surges swell no more: Then, O my LORD, prepare My soul for that calm day; O wash me in Thy precious Blood, And take my sins away.
A few more struggles here, A few more partings o'er, A few more toils, a few more tears, And we shall weep no more: Then, O my LORD, prepare My soul for that bright day; O wash me in Thy precious Blood, And take my sins away.

" And he said, I will not let thee go, 333 except thou bless me." SHEPHERD Divine, our wants relieve, In this our evil day:
To all Thy tempted followers give The power to watch and pray. Long as our fiery trials last,
Long as the cross we bear, O let our souls on Thee be cast In never- ceasing prayer. The Spirit of interceding grace Give us in faith to claim; To wrestle till we see Thy Face, And know Thy hidden Name.
' Tis but a little while
And He shall come again,
Who died that we might live, Who lives That we with Him may reign: Then, O my LORD, prepare My soul for that glad day;
D wash me in Thy precious Blood, And take my sins away. Amen.
Till Thou Thy perfect love impart, Till Thou Thyself bestow, Be this the cry of every heart, " I will not let Thee go:
" I will not let Thee go, unless Thou tell Thy Name to me; With all Thy great salvation bless, And make me all like Thee.
" Then let me on the mountain- top Behold Thy open Face; Where faith in sight is swallowed up And prayer in endless praise." Ainen.
" O, hold Thou up my goings in Thy paths; that my footsteps slip not." 334
BE Thou my Guardian and my Guide, And hear me when I call;
Let not my slippery footsteps slide; And hold me lest I fall.
The world, the flesh, and Satan dwell Around the path 1 tread;
O, save me from the snares of hell, Thon Quickener of the dead.
And if I tempted am to sin,
And outward things are strong, Do Thou, O LORD, keep watch withir, And save my soul from wrong.
Still let me ever watch and pray, And feel that I am frail;
That if the tempter cross my way, Yet he may not prevail.
To FATHER, SON, and HOLY GHOST The GOD Whom we adore,
Be glory, as was, is now,
And shall be evermore. Amen. " Every day will I give thanks unto Thee and praise Thy Name for ever and
ever."
