PSALMS AND HYMNS.

How short and hasty is our life

How strong Thine arm is, mighty God How sweet and awful is the place......

How sweet, how heavenly is the sight....... How sweet the name of Jesus sounds

How sweetly flowed the gospel's sound How swift the torrent rolls

How vast the treasure we possess..

How welcome to the saints, when pressed...

I.

I cannot bear Thy absence, Lord

I lift my soul to God

I love the Lord, He lent an ear

I love Thy kingdom, Lord

I send the joys of earth away

I sing my Saviour's wondrous death

I sing the almighty power of God

I waited patient for the Lord

I will extol Thee, Lord, on high... I will praise Thee every day I'll praise my Maker with my breath I'll speak the honours of my King I'm not ashamed to own my Lord. If God succeed not, all the cost If human kindness meets return Immortal principles forbid

In all my vast concerns with Thee In all my ways, O God

In all things like Thy brethren Thou In anger, Lord, rebuke me not

In God, most holy, just and true

In God's own house pronounce His praise... In Judah, God of old was known

In the cross of Christ I glory In Thy name, O Lord, assembling In time of tribulation

In true and patient hope Infinite excellence is Thine YX 2
