THE GOODNESS OF GOD.

All things for him account but loss, And give up all our hearts to him: Of nothing think or speak beside, " My Lord, my Love is crucified." HYMN 29.

7's.

COME, ye weary sinners, come, All who groan beneath your load; Jesus calls his wanderers home:

Hasten to your pardoning God. Come, ye guilty spirits, oppress'd, Answer to the Saviour's call: " Come, and I will give you rest: Come, and I will save you all." 2 Jesus, full of truth and love,

We thy kindest word obey: Faithful let thy mercies prove; Take our load of guilt away: Fain we would on thee rely,

Cast on thee our every care; To thine arms of mercy fly,

Find our lasting quiet there. 3 Burden'd with a world of grief, Burden'd with our sinful load, Burden'd with this unbelief,

33

Burden'd with the wrath of God; Lo! we come to thee for ease,

True and gracious as thou art; Now our groaning souls release, Write forgiveness on our heart. HYMN 30. 6-8's.

WHER THERE shall my wondering soul begin?

How shall I all to heaven aspire? A slave redeem'd from death and sin, A brand pluck'd from eternal fire, How shall I equal triumphs raise, Or sing my great Deliverer's praise? Univ. Bibl.
