To GOD, who all creation made,

The frequent hymn be duly paid! Alleluia.

This is the strain, the eternal strain, the LORD Almighty loves, Alleluia.

This is the song, the heavenly song, that CHRIST the King approves, Alleluia.

Wherefore we sing, both heart and voice awaking, Allelula; And children's voices echo, answer making,

Alleluia.

Now from all men be out- poured Alleluia to the LORD; With Alleluia evermore

The SON and SPIRIT we adore.

Praise be done to the THREE IN ONE,

We love the place, O GOD,

Wherein Thine honour dwells;

The joy of Thine abode All earthly joy excels.

It is the House of prayer,

Wherein Thy servants meet; And Thou, O LORD, art there Thy chosen flock to greet.

We love the sacred Font;

For there the Holy DoVE To pour is ever wont

His blessing from above.
