CATECHISM: There's a song for little children Above the bright blue sky, A song that will not weary, Though sung continually; A song which even angels Can never, never sing, They know not Christ as Saviour,* But worship him as King.

There's a robe for little children, Above the ht blue sky,

A harp of sweetest music, A palm of victory. All, all above is treasured, And found in Christ alone: O, come, dear little children, That all may be your own.

HYMNS FOR CHILDREN.

440 SAFE in the arms of Jesus, Safe on his gentle breast, There by his love o'ershadow'd Sweetly my soul shall rest. Hark!' tis the voice of angels, Borne in a song to me, Over the fields of glory,

Over the jasper sea.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on his gentle breast, There by his love o'ershadow'd Sweetly my soul shall rest.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe from corroding care, Safe from the world's temptations, Sin cannot harm me there; Free from the blight of sorrow, Free from my doubts and fears,

Only a few more trials,

Only a few more tears. Safe in the arms,& c. Jesus, my heart's dear refuge, Jesus has died for me, Firm on the Rock of Ages Ever my trust shall be. Here let me wait with patienceWait till the night is o'er, Wait till I see the morning Break on the golden shore. Safe in the arms of Jesus,

Safe on his gentle breast, There by his love o'ershadow'd Sweetly my soul shall rest.

Keep us, mighty Saviour, in the narrow way.

Brightly gleams,& c. Pattern of our childhood, once thyself a child,

In the hour of danger whither can we flee,

Save to thee, dear Saviour, only unto thee P

Offering prayers and praises at thy throne of love;

When the march is over, then comes rest and peace,

Jesus in his beauty, songs that never
