Warm our hearts and tune our tongues; May we with the blessed combine, Share their joy, and swell their songs; And with hearts and voices sing Glory, glory to our King.

Old men and children; let them praise the name of the Lord.- Psa. 148. 12, 13.
1 CHILDREN of Jerusalem Sang the praise of Jesus' name; Children, too, of modern days Join to sing the Saviour's praise. Hark! while infant voices sing Loud hosannas to our King.
2 We are taught to love the Lord; We are taught to read His word; We are taught the way to heaven: Praise for all to God be given. Hark! etc.
3 Parents, teachers, old and young, All unite to swell the song: Higher, and yet higher rise, Till hosannas reach the skies. Hark! etc.

One generation shall praise Thy works to another. -Psa. 145. 4.
1 WE are but young- yet we may sing The praises of our heavenly King: He made the earth, the sea, the sky, And all the starry worlds on high.
2 We are but young-- yet ruined all By Adam our first parent's fall; And we have sinned,-0 Lord, forgive, Jesus hath died that we might live.
3 We are but young- yet we have heard The gospel news, the heavenly word: If we despise the only way, Dreadful will be the judgment day.
4 We are but young- we need a guide ,Jesus, in Thee we would confide; Oh, lead us in the path of truth, Protect and bless our helpless youth,
5 We are but young, yet we must die; Perhaps our latter end is nigh: Lord, may we early seek Thy grace, And find in Christ a hiding- place.

Let the sweetest music blend; Let us raise our cheerful voices, Praising Christ, the children's Friend. Hallelujah! Jesus is the children's Friend.
2 When on earth, in town or city,
Wheresoe'er His footsteps bend, Full of gentleness and pity, He is found the children's Friend. Hallelujah!
Jesus is the children's Friend.
3 Blessèd Jesus, be our Saviour, From all harm our souls defend; Oh, may we, in our behaviour, Show that we are each Thy friend. Hallelujah!

1 JESUS, when He left the sky, And for sinners came to die, In His mercy passed not by Little ones like me.
2 Mothers then the Saviour sought In the places where He taught, And to Him their children broughtLittle ones like me.
3 Did
Saviour say them nay? No, He kindly bid them stay, Suffered none to turn away Little ones like me.
4' Twas for them His life He gave, To redeem them from the grave; Jesus able is to save
Little ones like me.
5 Children, then, should love Him now, Strive His holy will to do:
Pray to Him and praise Him tooLittle ones like me.
