PREFACE.
To meet the ever- increasing demand for a new Hymn Book- one which should more completely satisfy the demands of School and Home- the present compilation has been prepared.
The aim of the Compilers has been to produce in one book, at a minimum price, a greater number of hymns for Youthful Worship and Praise than is contained in any other work of a similar kind. A large proportion of the hymns are by well- known writers, but many have been included in the collection which are not so generally in use.
